Something anticipate some recessions here I can not quite understand. Contrary to other reviews here, the camera can not slip because the quick-release plate is secured by a small pin and you have to loosen the clamping screw very far so you can disconnect the camera from the tripod! (As a mechanical engineer, I know what I'm talking ...) I hope I could help with this many people have been put off by some reviews here something from the tripod.

+/- Something fummel Direction building by 5 fold-out stages to the full length
I highly recommend this very stand for system cameras. (Use a zoom lens with NEX5N)
