At Christmas '12 I got from my friend a EOS 1100D with 18-55mm kit lens given.
The kit lens is to start with perfectly fine. However, it is precisely in the open, for example, when you throw the stick wants to photograph the dog, almost always on the go "long end" of the small lens.
That's why I was pretty clear that even had a telephoto lens ago. Relatively low it should be, so I ordered the 55-250 IS II. Also because it seamlessly to the "Kit" followed by the focal length range.
And what can I say, to get started, it is just great!
My most beautiful animal photos I shot it. Especially when you can not manage to connect with close enough to the subject, whether by pen or underflow "flight distance".
For example, Meisen on birdhouses, ducks and swans on the river, or lynxes, wolves and deer in the wildlife park.
In recent weeks, was / is indeed out there very hazy when it comes to the weather, this is the image stabilizer has also been already paid fully. One can thus (even a beginner) dare even to slightly slower shutter speeds without worrying about strong shake.
For me, the acquisition has clearly paid off. When it comes out, the 55-250 ISII is almost exclusively mounted on the camera.
