I have many blade (chopping knife) vergliche and long thought until I decided for this. The WMF was by far the most expensive (about 40 EUR), as the mezzaluna there are some with cutting board for less than EUR 10.-. The high price is justified by the very high quality part, I think it is still very high-priced. My decision I do not regret. The knife is extremely sharp and in length to the right (there will be shorter). Also, the distance between the blades is well chosen, so that you can easily clean the chopping knife (Again, there are those who are very close zune Indians). From Material ago - 1A. Chromed metal handles, plastic is used nowhere. The blade as said super sharp. When cooking a lot with herbs etc. and wants to make the knives - then it's an absolute recommendation.
