Here's something new on this disc.
Last night, I handle it, and accidentally hangs on the edge of my laptop ... it escapes from my hands and fell from a height of 5 cm ... ... on my desk. Immediately, strange noise ... the heads are no longer able to read the data ... Disc ruined. So beware, it seems that this disc is hyper fragile.
In comparison, I also have a Lacie Mobile Disk 320 GB, yesterday evening always (it was not my day) I'm storing it escapes from my hands and fell to the ground (height of about one meter ). I said to myself, okay, and two for tonight. I reconnect, and ... he runs like clockwork.
A word to salvation ...

Nice little drive, nice to look ... A small storage pouch with, and it would have been top toupee!
Great price compared to the rest of the 500GB market.
I bought there three years or priate, a LaCie 60GB and the disk inside is a Hitachi. Never had a problem with, even after a few falls.
So I decided to take a direct Hitachi. We'll see.
One "problem" ... but that's all the same brand, I think, you buy a 500 GB and there was in fact only 465 GB available ... but ...

Otherwise, Amazon, well always the same. Really nickel chromium service.
