I needed a ball for a joby tripod.
It is well suited and I am very happy. I use it to put a small HD camcorder sony. The patella is convenient and the button allows adjusting the pressure switch between widescreen had patella mode. Good blocking to use panning easier would have been better but for the price it suits me perfectly.
Therefore a good buy.
