I also have no real comparisons, except my previous Sony Ericsson HPM-70 headset (which probably a descendant of the Sony MDR-70 is likely to be bud) and short audio samples with AKG Acoustics K324 and "the classics" Creative EP 630th
My amateurish judgment: The AKG sounded subjectively somewhat better (hence "only" 4 stars), the Creative I could not tell the difference ... unfortunately I can not specify, except that I am thrilled by the sound these impressions.
So why the Panasonic?
1.) The ingenious cable length
60cm + 60cm extension ... exactly what I wanted! Without extension I can headphones wonderfully together with the adapter of my SE K800i headset (or in conjunction with other mp3 player remote controls) use and home wonderful listening to music on the laptop (my headphone jack sits on the front of laptop, so rich 60cm exactly to me conveniently davorsetzen and sit back to).
I will start from the bed to enjoy a movie with head hearing or have more freedom of movement while listening to music, just come off the extension, super thing!
Sony has indeed attempted with the MDR-EX71, but the 50cm + has proven 1m division for me as awkward: 50cm are just exactly 10cm too short (except for the use of the mobile phone headset) and the total length of 1.50 m with adapter is again more than I need.
2.) The comfort is a dream
The ear pieces are super light and so ingeniously shaped that they really could forget the ear, if you have the music! The advantage seems to lie for me is that the ear portions of the Panasonic compared to the other mentioned products have this "flat plate", the pleasant rest on the inner surface of the ear and to the "nub" who sit in the ear canal are slightly oval shaped ... do not like now sound so spectacular, it feels in my opinion, but at, try on the best times himself.
3.) Other + Price:
I think the price (about 25 Internet Retailing 27-30) for sound + processing absolutely is okay. Since these headphones are still relatively fresh on the market, they will probably be even cheaper with time as the Creative EP 630, the earlier were also times more expensive. Regarding comfort and cable division, they are unrivaled as I know, but those are, of course, subjective criteria, which strongly depend on individual preferences (someone else might preferably a 1.50 cable straight and severe ear pieces).
Otherwise, all that remains is to say that the cable jacket comes across as high and probably everything else is as you would expect from headphones of 30 Class: Gold-plated plug, carrying case, 3 pairs of different-large silicone stoppers.
Oh, and who can not start as much with the current Apple-white design trend, the headset's recently also in black.
So, perhaps there is indeed soon have someone who can give a reasonable account of the sound ... of me there's definitely a buy recommendation.
