This score makes the heart beat faster of film music: Several muskalische themes and motifs are finely varied throughout the score. Jerry Goldsmith working here with pure orchestral and dispenses completely with electronic sounds !!! There is the Camelot theme, the love theme, and the theme for the villain Malagand (in the film up to 3 times used!) And the sweeping and heroic Lancelot theme that the film several times (about 4 times at different places!) In the 1st half of the film can be heard in a very lively and powerful variants. That is precisely this hervorragdende sweeping and heroic Lancelot - topic missing on this CD presentation is a scandal. A score highlight is the music to the scene where Guinevere is kidnapped; here the love theme is played in a lively and dramatic Actionvariane. Unfortunately, there is also this piece on this CD. The beautiful little melodic passages from the movie would have done very well the CD. Who wants to have all the music, should look for the sound technically significantly better long version (29 tracks)! Most of the tracks of the CD on 1995 offered here are from the 2nd half of the film. Here, the great dramatic piece "Artus Farewell" is a large choir and Orchestra, which is a true film musical Highligt. The song "Promise Me" on this CD is the way of the End Title movie! This CD here is great, but more in this case would have been really more! Because on this CD is due to lack of Lancelot and Malagands topic, as well as by the lack of action version of the love theme, the compositional Vieflat this classic Hollywood scores lost!
