Anyone who sets his access point to the 5GHz channels 36-64, will have no problems, otherwise the product with Driver 3.2.6.0 is not EU-compliant with our 5 GHz WLAN standards.
Supplement 05.12.2013:
Another note to 5GHz: From channel 100 may be sent in the 5 GHz range with 1000mW; that is of course the purpose of extend the range and stability very interesting, but unfortunately with this TP-Link product can not be realized because the appropriate channels 100-140 can not be received.
When a product is in the EU generally advertised with 5 GHz and sold without naming restrictions, I also expect that it also supports all relevant channels. I'll replace the TP-Link now by a FRITZ! WLAN USB Stick N v2.
Supplement: 20/9/2014:
According to the German Wikipedia the 5GHz channels 100-140 with the exception of the channels 120, 124 and 128 for use have been approved in the US now.
