Unfortunately, my graphics card only supports two monitors. Currently working for CAD and circuit design I need three monitors, however, and have therefore decided to use the ITEC.
As monitors I use three times the Samsung P2370 with 1920x1080 resolution.
Attached is the adapter to an onboard USB 2.0 port.
The unit is hand-hot during operation. Bildruckler did not exist. It is fair to look even videos via the adapter.
Negative is then, however: The adapter draws but noticeably the performance of your computer. I have about 600Mb more memory capacity in the "idle" than before / without.
Especially striking: When can I watch videos overloaded the adapter from the CPU significantly. So you should be limited to browser / Office etc.
Also not so good, I like that the adapter does have a connection for a power supply, this has not been included.
The power supply via USB works well, however.
Conclusion: Recommended USB extension for anyone another monitor for presentations such as. Scanners / Office / etc needs. I would buy the little thing immediately.
