The BenQ G2411HD falls visually mainly by its simplicity. The frame is very thin and made of matte black plastic. Only at the bottom right, it is slightly thicker to accommodate the controls. There are no boxes with the monitor What I personally prefer. The sleek and simple design I find very appealing (apart from the thicker afford bottom right. That's what I had to initially some getting used). The workmanship is good and solid. Since there really nothing to complain about. The Stand is stable although it seems a bit minimalistic. The image quality is excellent and you learn to appreciate the high resolution fast! I use the auto settings and am absolutely happy! Super colors, sharp text and good contrast! I use the monitor primarily for work, surfing and watching movies. Sometimes a little gamble. Can not complain in any of the areas :) Just the illumination shows TN panel typical weaknesses at the top and bottom. Since the picture is a little brighter. This can be seen only at very dark images and it bothers hardly. The operation is simple and you can quickly become accustomed in the menu. Only the keys are a bit getting used to. You need at first light to detect which key is used for what. So at night a bit annoying. But to change the settings so that anyway hardly is OK I think. Another shortcoming is the lack of digital cable. There is only a VGA cable. But most of a DVI cable from the old monitor will have at home. And HDMI cable you have to buy anyway with all devices separately.
