Since I was always excited about my laptop with IPS panel and also my AMOLED smartphones when it comes to color reproduction, contrast and black level, I took for 260 the issuer of IPS277L in a large electronics market, because to me there immediately the good image and the great fabrication noticed.
I'm with the great colors of the screen is still very satisfied, to the monitor is the viewing angle stability, so it can be really viewed from almost any angle, without distorting the colors strong. Also when playing, the screen looks brilliant, I can not then streaks, even when working notice. Nice is also the matte screen coating, severely limits the reflections and the rest of the screen: The gray plastic strip below brings some variety to the desk and can not act so boring the screen. Also the only 1mm thin edge in the off screen always attracts attention. In my opinion, the screen is one of the finest monitors that there is currently on the market.
Another practical feature is the cable guide on the monitor back, which I now use for all cables that are available on the desk, so that the workplace has the same effect, less wiring. The IPS277L also supports the MHL standard, so the HDMI port can output current to power a connected mobile phone. By mitgelierten MHL cable (big plus), I can transmit the screen contents of the note 2 quickly on the screen. The note will be doing even more loaded. No HDMI cable is included, I can get over easily, since these mostly anyway laying around at home. The ports on the back are fortunately mounted horizontally and so easily accessible (unlike many other screens).
What has struck me is in the lower left corner quite strong clouding in dark images. However, since there are very few screens without those bright spots in the image with dark colors are, I want to also not be regarded as too big gripe, but note only briefly. As annoying as I already feel very shaky pedestal which transmits small vibrations immediately on the whole screen. As this now and then something bothers writing but I subtract a star. The touch control buttons on the bottom of the screen to respond to me only about one out of ten times, luckily you have to change something there but hardly ever. This should have been safe but also hammer out better.
Summary:
+ Super image, good contrast and high viewing angle stability without streaks
+ Good black levels, bright image
+ Great, attractive design of the front
+ No glossy surfaces (up to stand)
+ Very thin edge when turned off, but otherwise with only one good centimeters comparatively thin
+ Reflections are almost completely prevented
+ Cable guide on the back
+ Easy access to the ports on the back (2x HDMI!)
+ MHL support with the appropriate cable supplied
+ Energy saving
- Very shaky pedestal, the scratched easily
- Bottom left strong Clouding

Overall, I can recommend but the monitor in this price range without limitation, for something better would have drauflegen a few hundred euros. Despite a star trigger a strong buy recommendation.
