The booties are so super cute. Have it as a gift for the grandparents bought to notify that we have a baby. So sweet and soft as they are, the quality is great, but totally impractical for a newborn. Far too Propper with the big head forward, the whole thing which is quite difficult to make, compared to socks. To tighten up I would not buy.
