The story begins with Druss out of his village and ends with the great epic battle Skeln. As laccoutumée, Gemmel uses a quick, accurate and efficient style that creates a great narrative tension and keep the reader captivated in history.
A main quest takes shape but find Rowena meetings in meetings, Druss also participate in wars, clashes with the worst creatures.
Meetings to be made on it: Shadak tracker, Borcha wrestler, Gorben emperor, Eskodas larcher, Michanek and Bodasen general and much else that will give a cheerful tone to this quest.
The great bulk of this book, will certainly be its ongoing battle with his ax owned Snaga, which protects it during his fights but also lincite to turn into a killing machine.
This book is fun to read, fighting his well described, yet few minor complaints, Druss always comes out extremely well the pitfalls into which he falls and we feel that this is he who decides the story from beginning to end is rarely influenced by leaving reviews other protagonists. At the same time this is may be what made his legend
