The Post goes off when the Quartet starts to play. The unique constellation of the band with the vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson avant-garde, the splendidly fits here in the Groove John Patton and his master guitarist Grant Green, brings Drive from the first to the last song. It is one of the "grooviest" Blue Note albums ever and some friend of today's acid jazz will be wondering what time was already on the stage. A must for every Blue Note fan and a CD that I hear regularly (and thereby get a good mood) - buy !!
