I have looked at the LED - RGB Strips also bought extensions and connectors. Connected - everything was great, after a short time the lights went behind a connection of the T - connector from. After re-plugging the light was on again. This went on for a couple of times until I took out the connector again and noted that a solder joint had no right contact. If a certain amount of current flowed it turned off easily. I then soldered to the authorities and have since light on all existing Strips.
