I bought this USB 3.0 cable for my new 2.5 "external hard drive (Seagate).
On the Micro-B connector side (hard disk) everything was fine on the A-side of the plug connector must not complete. be plugged into the socket, otherwise the laptop does not recognize the disk. This was the case at 3 different laptops.
That came with the hard drive cable worked perfectly, however (unfortunately very short).
