The first device that I received, had contact problems. The smart card has been recognized only when the protruding part of the map was severely bent. I reported the problem and was given a new device. This was error-free.
However:
- The keys are very small and have no pressure point, so that the entry of the PIN every time is a guessing game.
- Furthermore, the contact with the smart card is shaky. Every now and then you have to insert the card repeatedly and forcefully, so that they will be detected. This in my opinion is clearly due to an inferior version of the reading contacts.
- Furthermore, the reader hanging on every 4-5 times, and does not respond to inserted cards. Here you have to unplug the USB connector briefly and reinsert. This effect I had on 2 different computers with Windows XP and Windows. 7
I bought the reader especially for the display to increase safety by checking the transfer details on the displays of Online Banking.
This is not supported at the moment and the display has been linked to banking HBCI no useful function.
All in all a entäuschendes product with inferior keyboard.
