First, the (for many important) Appearance:
In my view, a "looker" and almost too good for the cellar. The large rimless porthole without handle and the LED interior lighting, this machine takes off from the same old boring design and is just for people who want to set up the device in the bathroom, is certainly recommended.
Construction, installation and commissioning:
The takeaway from Hermes unpacks the machine and takes over the packaging on request.
Everything you need (hoses, etc.) are of course included, so you can connect the device directly. The machine is visually bigger, but has the same standart (60x60x85) and therefore adapts to the old location. After connection is still a calibration of the integrated scale required (automatic process - takes about 3 minutes). By removing the transport safety and align the machine to the adjustable feet you really need no more than 30 minutes to the first wash.
Operation:
When reading the manual is a little dizzy at first, but when you operate the machine, the places very quickly. My wife, who is more at war with "too much technology", has also been found very quickly to right and confirming my personal impression is that everything is very easy to understand. Actually, you have to remember only the symbols of the possible additional options and preferred options. The rest can be read on the display and on the rotary control. To cope with the numerous options but the one-time reading the manual is essential in my opinion. I put a link to download the instructions in the comments. I have printed my 2 sides (25 + 26) and laminated in a Folder (front and back). Thus one has really everything at hand, what one might need to sign declarations, quantities, etc..
Volume:
Even the water intake is very low. From the wash and the spin you get a higher floor (concrete floors) with hardly anything. The loudest is the melody that signals the end after each wash. This tone can be but, just like off the drum lighting.
The washing results:
The laundry smells fresher, which I attribute to the "active foam" function. Even the cleaning result is "felt" a little bit better than our old machine. The laundry there also came out clean. In this respect, so really just "felt" clean.
Loading:
Of the 10 standard programs only a (cotton) is actually provided with the maximum load of 8 kg. 6 programs are to be driven even with 6 kg of 4 and only 2 kg.
Power consumption:
Power: With a specification of 151 kilowatt hours per year, the value is apparently only minimally under the somewhat favorable (750) devices. In my research, approximately 12 kWh. But it is worth noting that the figures are based on 220 washes. We have loose three times as much. If we add then, the 36 kWh a year and in 10 years 360. These times currently about 30 cents arise then but stately 108,00 Euro ;-)
Water consumption:
Water based on the specification of 9400 liters per year: Again, results at first glance, only a small advantage (cheaper devices to 10,000 l) for us. Approximately 1.5 cubic meters per annum, ie at 5 / cubic meter (fresh u. Waste water) only 7,50. But during 10 years of operation makes then also no less than 75.00.

The best for last - our subjective feeling after 2 months of use:
+ Intuitive and easy-to-use machine
+ The laundry smells wonderfully fresh
+ The laundry is felt cleaner
+ Little energy and water consumption calm uncommonly
+ A nice design (if one may say something in a World Cup)
+ A large display and large font on the display and on the dial make the reading glasses superfluous
From us, there's a very, very strong buy recommendation :-))
