After reading and popular "The next door neighbors" and "That night," I have just finished reading this new title. The story is of course quite complex and can easily be read, despite a dip at the beginning of the novel about the newspaper that employs David, and on secondary characters, or in Chapter 19. I did not find the translation Irene Offermans very happy, compared to translations of other thrillers, abusing it "or that ... or that", and many other style blunders.
That said, I enjoyed the history of diamonds! a remarkable rebound!
But I will say no more. You need to buy this book, because once you have read the Barclay, can no longer resist the urge to discover and appreciate his work.
