With "A Nu Day" of young R'n'B singer Tamia is a good second album succeeded. Although fairly quiet is this 54 minute work when quiet "simple" R'n'B like, not boring. The best song of the album is the slow Superstar ballad "Love Me In A Special Way", but also up-tempo songs like "Can not Go For That" or "Dear John" will be represented. The a capella singing Interlude at the beginning of the CD in which a line of the first single "Stranger in My House" sing, it becomes clear that Tamia has vocally really a lot to offer. Without large flourishes and failed Superstar deposits à la Mariah Carey (- screaming -!) And even without the volume of a Whitney Houston not heard her voice out of the question to which of hyped Teenstars. But just here lies perhaps then sometimes the problem, because in many of the tracks you get the feeling that one of these new hope (so new it's not really) here more could sew for her voice to the body. Nevertheless, a good second plant, although it will be hard to be with so good but it is pretty average material establish top.
