This is my 2nd Dart set that I bought and can therefore compare (12 pieces McDart Steeldarts) only with the 1st set.
Compared to the 1st set look optically better to classes! Also the throw behavior is great. Within the first half hour I was able to throw all the first 140s (see Figure 1).
The rings for attaching the flights are not as for 1st Set "mini keyrings", but consist of a single aluminum ring.
This has advantages and disadvantages:
Advantage of the aluminum ring is edgier than the rounded Keyring, thereby keeping the rings better and must be firmly pressed rare.
Disadvantage: If a Robin Hood-litter was demolished both of the slotted Flight mounting on the shaft one piece, and the ring was blown open, and thus stem ring were no longer usable. (Key rings are more stable and would presumably. Not break.)
As a replacement for the broken shaft I have ordered a long (on the recommendation of other customers) (50 mm medium) shafts. Since I wanted white stems, I have to buy me the same white flights. With the medium-shafts can be of Dart subjectively simple check and throw good results (see Fig.2).
I'm very satisfied with the 23g of Darts, compared to the 1st Set (21g) I would have a much larger difference than estimated only 2g, since he much harder feels in your hand.
When throwing the dart is sunk deep through the higher weight and also produces a significantly louder popping sound as the 21g Dart.
A colleague wrote that he has to throw the darts with greater force, so they get stuck. In my "Winmau Blade 4" board, this is not the case. I tried the darts as easy as possible to throw and they have always remained stuck.
The best thing about the darts is the division of the barrel in a smooth and a corrugated region.
By corrugation of barrels of darts is non-slip between the fingers and the smooth part Duch can touch him without looking again at the same point, because the focus is just behind the smooth part.
Shaft and Flight are consumables, which can be damaged by falling to the ground or by Robin Hood-shots.
The barrel has excluded from the manufacturer with a lifetime warranty, but it is unfortunately the steel tip which is moreover not interchangeable. However, this top can withstand a lot. Already several times was hit the metal grid and the metal figures. The worst of the nail head should be holding the fixing of the number ring, also this has already met a couple times. So far, however, all tips are amazingly still as sharp as on the first day.
I would buy the darts again at any time.
