Highly recommended I can upgrade with a DK-17M including eyepiece DK-19 eyecup. The already innately very large viewfinder image becomes even greater (magnification ca. 1.2) is perfect and the eye of the eye cup. Only when closing the back cover you must circles selbige something with the eyecup past.
The Shuttersound is determinative and tired, certainly not Leisetreter, also in the Cs setting very vocal but not intrusive. Operation is Nikon usual very easy, fast ergründlich, goes directly into flesh and blood; certain training and joy of it is of course necessary, as everywhere. The original camera manual explains the F6 to the smallest detail.
The MS-41 (the standard battery holder of F6) and two CR123A Varta Pro batteries can I get on average as 15 to 20 exposed films, but I am usually with the battery grip and the EN-EL4a road and after about 40 films more like 50 per cent full. However, it has almost 1.6 Kg to move in the specification and an AF-D 50 / 1.4, which is certainly not everyone's thing. My but already, I prefer well-balanced, ergonomic Body`s (what the F6 with and without battery grip undoubtedly is!) And have rather small, bright FBs front of it.
Many accessories can be combined with a number of Nikon's hybrid use (Remote Cord MC-36a, battery EN-EL4a, eyepiece DK-17M, Angle Finder DR-5, etc ...), which can still significantly reduce the cost. One must consider the holistic system of Nikon and skim not superficial and whining immediately darauflos.
Allow me a little thinking incentive specifically for wedding photographers to deliver: Provides your customers but an additional analog shooting on the day of days, makes you familiar with -> Push & Pull
No, I'm not a Digital muffle or hopelessly outdated when it comes to photography, just the opposite. Digital I'm from the Olympus E-1 in 2005, on the D700 (for me the digital F6 !!) again at Olympus, the time and OM-D E-M10, and ended up really very satisfied with the small-big Oly the truly grandiose Zuiko lenses. Analogue KB but is inconceivable without my F6. The F6, in combination with the D700 is my ideal, hybrid working couple. Sustainable and unrivaled.
With the extremely low-cost and high-quality Nikkor AF-D prime lenses Nikon AF Nikkor 24mm / 2.8D lens (52mm filter thread), Nikon AF Nikkor 35mm / 2.0 D lens (52mm filter thread), Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm 1: 1.4D lens (52mm filter thread) anyway, which are even older in the bill and not on high-resolution, digital Pixelmonster optimized or expected. They are still (as of March 2015) Newly available and all have a common filter thread of 52mm, which reduces the cost again, because (color) filter're especially strongly represented in the analog b / w photography.
Conclusion: Buy this camera as long as it is to have a new still and become hybrid photographer. You will enjoy it for a long time and always a smile on their faces wear whom you serve him, this milestone of analog photographic technique! Analogous films there in ten years yet, for sure!
Best regards and always good light!
