The appropriate heavy tripod (191 g) has a built-in and not removable ball head. If the three legs can be folded up, the tripod serves as Gripable camera or accessory handle. The tripod is (folded) 18.5 cm long, while the legs are only 12.5 cm long. This leads to the towards the head converging taper of the legs to the fact that the folded tripod is keeping very good and very safe in their hands. Keeping the arms with hand-held camera while walking down the handle is still securely in your hand - and a finger (or thumb) can engage in a saving under the head to secure the handle before slipping.
The unfolded tripod is slip resistant thanks barely visible rubber feet at the end of the legs, the legs are spread on an imaginary circle with about 23 cm in diameter.
The adjustment of the ball head with about 5 mm projecting pushbutton (the presses against a strong spring) is quickly and reliably. The stand of the reviewer makes the adjustment of the ball head any inappropriate or disturbing noises.
The only drawback is the lack of a recess in the holder of the ball head, which - as with many other ball heads - allows you to tilt the camera in the Portrait Mode. With this tripod so go only Horizontal shots ("Landscape") - what for film / video recordings but anyway the only choice will be - and for the camera handle's also particularly suitable.
