As Chargers I use for several years
- The Wolfcraft Charge Manager 2020 8 courses (+ 2 for 9 volt)
- The Ansmann Energy 16 with 12 seats (+4 for 9 volts)
- The Techno Line BC700 with 4 seats
- The Sanyo NC MQR06W specially for Eneloop.
In addition I have a specific charger NiZn battery with higher voltage.
As batteries do I use in addition to Mono, Baby (type C and D) for radios and torches and 9V blocks (eg for measuring instruments) as well as all standard AA and AAA of Ansmann, Sanyo (Eneloop various types), Varta, Panasonic, AmazonBasics, Aldi and Lidl (latest production from December 2013), as well as some exotics, which are supplied with each unit. This should 10-12 different types and a total of more than 100 pieces.
As a gauge I use mainly the Ansmann Energy Check LCD to check voltage and charges the battery. These 2 other devices to possibly check these values.
Here are the results and my assessment:
1) The fact that AA batteries are the Technoline bc2500 badly insert I can not confirm. The removal is easy, but requires the use of nails, but that's for all devices that.
2) The fan turns on rarely and for about one minute. He is a little louder than the my laptop but quieter than the Ansmann- or Wolfcraft charger.
3) My device does not smell.
4) I have, among other things also the Tecnoline BC700. I find this 2500 BC compared overly expensive. I doubt that the enormous difference in price is justified. All right, the display is larger, etc., but in the end it is not a quantum leap.
The device comes with 10 year old batteries that are completely ausgelutscht and have only 30% of its rated capacity, equal to the work, not bitches and packs them as far as possible with energy within approx. 20-25 minutes. "Full".
It operates at blazing speed, is very informative and safe. You do not read if you already have experience with other Technoline the operating instructions.
The bc2500 is only suitable for AA and AAA and the price I find simply too expensive.
Objectively, there are already microprocessor-controlled devices with up to 12 seats, for Mono, Baby and 9 V Blocks for so much money. Therefore, I would only awarded 2.5-3 stars in value for money.
