I have read various comments about this book and that's what prompted me to buy it. It is really very good. Its only flaw is that it says "all levels" on the cover. Now it is evident that a beginner can read it. At least know the "hiragana" to pronounce that even the first few pages. Later we also see that we must already know the pronunciation of certain "kanji" if one wants to read the text aloud. For fast, the author "on-track" over the "kanji" with "furikana" necessary pronunciation. At first I thought we might have seen this pronunciation in previous pages, but after verification, it appears not. I find it unfortunate, because this amounts to read Japanese unable to speak it. Nevertheless, if one team a few other manuals, which is usually the case when learning a language, we can then juggle "hiragana" and "kanji" to finally read that Japanese grammar handbook.
