Technically perfect, but with vulnerability

The technical assessment much good has been said here already. I am not a technician, but give here next time that my electrician as technical quality products appreciates Busch-Jaeger dimmer.
About a weak point, however, one should be clear: to control the dimmer one still needs the corr hub.. This has on the back for connecting to the central pivot of the dimmer module only three small "noses", surrounded for securing / stabilizing a small metal ring. This is in my opinion a bad design, because the nose break very quickly when something violent pressure on the dimmer when switching on or off. Especially if you have children, it is quite possible that this cut something hard on the dimmer to get the light. A new hub for current One must at a fraction of the three lugs again after all around. 6.81 EUR Buy. This construction deficiency would be very easy to correct by the manufacturer. Maybe was the consciously designed by the manufacturer as a predetermined breaking point in order to sell new hubs as a replacement can. After all, who will change because the same due to a defective hub all expensive dimmers. That it is better, for example, shows the manufacturer Jung (which is, incidentally, also very appreciated by my electrician). I also had several occasions to buy for my Busch-Jaeger dimmer in recent years replacement hubs, although I would take for me to complete, with care to deal with those things, especially since I am aware of their weakness. As long as this is not corrected, I will not buy Busch-Jaeger dimmer more.

Because of this annoying because superfluous design flaw (the remedy in acc. Quality assurance and consideration of customer experience but a well-known brand manufacturers have to) be taken into account when purchasing the actual dimmer and repeatedly follow-up costs of around iH. May result in 10% of dimmer price, I prefer here despite the obvious technical quality of the dimmer from two stars. I have also thought about only one star deduction, but because of the obvious weak point it is then but two star deduction.
