After's then sample buying a technically legal equivalent but more expensive Sennheiser in-ear headphone, which oddly enough but had an audible, slight noise when just no sound came, I finally settled general favorites such as Sennheiser and Sony are left and replaced the headphones against Philips SHE 9700th
I have no regrets. The sound quality was blown away with this headset for the then price of just 40 euros and I was absolutely thrilled to get as much sound for comparatively little money.
Compared with other manufacturers to me then, above all, the power and frequency range (6 to 23.500 Hz !!!) had impressed for this price level.
Since no extension cable of the SHE 9700 but virtually unusable is (because too short) and the shell of the left earpiece had suffered even after I was once accidentally stepped on, a new headset now had her yet, although the old headphones even after trodden even worked perfectly. But who wants to walk around with a bad glued part in the ear?
So compared again what it now so novel was, it should be about the same price and Well again, noted at the end that, surprisingly, the SHE 9700 in the new edition can still withstand the price / performance level with current models of competition and even with has become even cheaper by 30 euros.
Since me the sound quality was so excited, I finally no longer chose again for this quite current model or its second version. Successor as SHE 9800/9850 should also not even be as good as the 9700th
So the SHE 9700/10 or 9701 ordered.
Conclusion: Just come and get compared with the previous 9700 the 9700/10 version seems actually to have the minimal differences that Caligulus has responded. The heights seem just a tad bit more clearly, the bass seems by a tiny tick reduced, but I think actually is not the case, but only as "sound".
With the matching earplugs but it deafened still nice, but the overall sound somehow seems even more harmonious and balanced. A very neat! Personal opinion: perfect enjoying sound!
The only drawback for me is the already mentioned otherwise lettering on the headphones themselves. This will exfoliate quickly well again even at the present model. Since the headphones are but angled for each ear, one sees actually so, which is one in which ear headphones and takes the "L" and "R" imprint not really, it should peel off again.
I guess I would have treated my predecessor some caretaking, everything was still intact even at this in terms of cable and cover. It is the first time that I ever buy exactly the same product (in the audio sector) but it was worth it again in this case. The headphones are just great and makes my ears a lot of joy!
Pay now simply take care, that I no longer so often somewhere to stay and hang the headphones when not in use beautiful aufbewahre with the cable in the corresponding bag. Then he was supposed to have a much longer life.
Five stars for the sound Appreciation 4 of 5 stars, because of small problems like flaking font after prolonged use, and recently headphone cable (without the extension).
For my part, therefore, a very strong buy recommendation! For me personally, the Philips SHE 9700/10 stands everything else in this price range and leaves the competition far behind.
