Now the beginning of September I wanted to make the autumn fertilizing it and took the device out again. The same problem, the engine did not say a peep. Again I tried several batteries. None. Call at Amazon, there would be me refer to the manufacturer, but if at all possible, I prefer to take the dealer warranty claim, the experience has shown significantly less stressful. So I sent back the second device and Amazon sent me to the third device. Fertilization I have therefore shifted to delivery.
After unpacking the third device I put batteries and wanted to get started at last and what can I say: There is no sound, no turning the ejection wheel! Slowly, I was a little annoyed by this sprinkling appliance. Eventually, however, it was, with the battery of my digital camera. It looked as if it was due to the positive terminal. On the positive terminal of battery is minimally larger than the conventional batteries. My friend in his photographic equipment also batteries of another company that also have this minimally larger positive pole, with which the device was again not. But since I wanted to fertilize the lawn and not concern myself further with the cause of the error, I put the batteries from the camera, went into the garden, filled the device with fertilizer and walked across the lawn. I was excited as can be quickly and evenly distributing fertilizer. The device is really in this regard practically and done any application of fertilizer can be noticeably smoother than the usual Gritter. It is good to wear, because it is not too heavy at a volume of 2.5 liters in hand. Shortly before the end of the filling you have to move a little the device, so the rest lags, but that is feasible and works beautifully.
When I had a second time refilled fertilizer and wanted to turn on the unit again: no sound, no function! Fertilizer shaken out again, turned device, batteries have been removed reinstated: no sound. For some reason, I then realized that perhaps a grain of fertilizer blocked the ejection wheel. So I turned with his hand on the wheel and actually, the machine was running again. From there with each battery, with each battery. There were no dropouts.
Probably I should do that also in the other two models, but who suspect insofar as such completely unused equipment will only be manually set in motion. In retrospect, I suspect that perhaps a small plastic flash has blocked the respective ejection wheels. I think it is indeed still strange that the engine has not even been at blockade a pained sound, but was completely silent, but this third device works finally.
I recommend the device because the spreading really super easy, fast and smoothly functioning. Because of technical obstacles but there is point deduction. My advice to all buy the unit: Turn the Ball Discharge once before commissioning.
