The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is an ingenious toy in the Conclusion and is for me the best available tablet currently. At first I was highly impressed: top processing, super weight and the style of higher quality than the iPad.
After switching on, I was again somewhat disillusioned: wallpaper looked not just in high resolution and the screen seemed compared to my Galaxy S AMOLED screen somehow inferior ... It is now times a LCD screen. Easy to use in sunlight as a mirror and point of view can tarnish the color impression. The homescreen was laggy ... but this was because the tablet has just sync my entire Google account in the background, incl. All apps from my phone.
At once I have the first apps installed / started, I normally use on my Android smartphone and have the joy rose again. Office Apps, drawing programs and Mindmaps be served wonderfully. Youtube, Internet as a whole and movies are a delight and the widgets - one knows it but anyway the smartphone - are on the Tablet somehow the same amount of "meaningful" ... Twitter, mail, calendar & Co - the usual stuff, but larger , Read feeds just fun and there are great feed reader a la pulses or Feedly etc. Polar Office is the preinstalled Office app, but that I have directly replaced by Quickoffice HD, which directly with various Clouds cooperates (Dropbox for example) without the corr. Programs only to have to run.
Then I first recorded my favorite feeds and the initial excitement began again. To read on the tablet or browsing the Internet is simply much (!) More comfortable than on the smartphone. Arrived in the office I took the tablet in the meeting this time instead of a netbook ...

Tap, recording and presentation is great on the thing. No idea why a netbook simply does not reach the comfort, but the tablet or pass it on the table to have while going through films, created sketches or opens the net several sites is incomparable ... group working on the tablet, so to speak;)
Furthermore, I took the tablet to a customer. With eg Thinking Space can be wonderful to create mind maps. On the smartphone that was more of a Gefrickel - now it is a matter of course. Excellent!

To the device itself:
SOUND
Stereo sound is great. It is probably the landscape mode and the format, but the sound is many times clearer and stereo moderate than the iPad ... but strangely even better than the Xoom or Asus Transformer.
SCREEN
In direct comparison with the iPad 2, the screen does not take much. I would say the colors are slightly richer. It's Gorilla Glass installed, so you can easily cut a sandwich on the thing. The wallpapers are solved but cruelly by the availability of portrait and landscape mode wallpaper in 1280x800 principle again gecropped and then look pixelated out. So best wallpaper in a gigantic resolution take (5400x4800 or so. 10MP etc) and of cropping a section. Then again looks super.
The touch screen reacts just as good as the Galaxy S. If Android just zickt again a bit, then touch and accuracy is the same as the iPad.
SPEED
All games and apps run wonderful liquid. Because you just can not have much to say. The home screen is sometimes a bit laggy (!). Here you have the iPad simply concede that the "narrow-minded" iOS simply reliable running smoothly. However, if you does not begin to install stupid homescreen apps that want to make any system-wide improvements, then the home screen remains fluid! On the whole, this is anyway to push on Android ... that was namely just to Froyo was stable with the Galaxy S.
APPS
There are actually for almost everything already good apps. I am confident that there will be very soon countless more specifically for HC - I hope ICS manages also to the Galaxy Tab 10.1. I argue that tablets will be the toy the next 2 years.
Nevertheless, you will find on the Apple counterpart much more Apps in high quality ... though one must distinguish very well btw. Games and useful apps. I think the thing is not intended to gamble, although it is truly a delight ^^
PROCESSING
The weight might be somewhat lower. I think it is the lightest Tablet (?) On the market. But do they hold it in your hand, the joint is still racked after 10 minutes. So either it is thought in portrait or in the arm like a baby ... The back is smooth, with sweat that is a slippery matter. Otherwise 1A.
CAM
Well, a cam stop. Was good enough to shoot photos or to hold videoconferences. But who today in a phone or tablet camera expects that corresponds to a full-fledged digital camera, which has something not quite understand and also buys new cars on the basis that an integrated navigation system is installed)
CONNECTIVITY
Well, given the 16GB memory and any available USB slot could now begin arbitrarily tablet badmouthing. And quite honestly, it's definitely common rip-off to get rid of the USB adapter for more than 20 Öcken. But I have used these anyway not yet. The 16GB are not rudimentary depleted despite Apps now has more than 100 installed. To store movies on the thing's bullshit if you think one should look at HD movies on a tablet. And thanks to the Internet fly data anyway through the cloud.
Nevertheless, tens of ports are as beautiful as a PC case with 12 HD Slots. Beautiful, but pointless because never used to hardly.
Again I say: Anyone who expects he could repurpose his tablet into a multimedia hub has not understood the meaning of a portable computer (!). Or has too many pirated)
On the whole, the connectivity is certainly bad, but negligible.
DELIVERY
Only the most necessary. Earphone + charger cable)
PRICE-PERFORMANCE
On the whole, the tablet is too expensive. But at present are simply too expensive ALL Tablets. Because it concerns with a tablet by no means a necessary device. Rather, it is a "toy" for adults and designed various activities simply more comfortable.
To put it in a nutshell: Office (documents & Mails), presentations, surfing the net, pictures / movies look (short films a la youtube, series, etc.), daddeln SNES, Socials use (Twitter, etc.), and of course the splurge at the colleague. I would say it will replace a netbook largely, but not completely.
With a more mature Android there 5 Star.
