So I reached after careful consideration the reviewed here 800 mAh 4-pack of Varta. I wavered between this and the last still 1000 mAh 4-pack of Varta that loud declaration 300 to replace rather than only 175 conventional batteries. Decisive for my grip on the batteries with lower capacity (mAh) was an explanation of capacity in the article by Stiftung Warentest and the test result. According to Stiftung Warentest batteries with higher capacities are more sensitive and potentially a lower life marked. The batteries are not reviewed here directly to the winner. The winner presented "Varta Recheargeable Accu 800 mAh Toys" represents which can also be found on Amazon. I reached to the present batteries because they were offered cheaper and had the same values (800 mAh / equivalent to 175 disposable batteries). In an earlier test (December 2004) made under the Varta AAA batteries the winner (that time "Varta Photo Accu 800"). So I'm in general and especially those rated capacity was able to build confidence in the manufacturer.
Ordered, delivered. As the batteries are permanently prove to be seen and will be supplemented by me. So far, I bought Sanyo batteries that suited me because of the practical plastic boxes above all. So I could always mark a box with "empty" and there are hoarding the used batteries, came together to four the full assembly of the charger. As in test Sanyo batteries relatively poor came away, I decided this time but for the Varta variant. That may well be that 900-mAh batteries from Sanyo in Test competed. Maybe it would be the 800-mAh model fared better.
What I can not say is whether the "guts" of the present batteries comply with the test winner and only different packages were created for virtually identical products. As I knew the well of the Sanyo batteries, the charged batteries from Varta also show two out of three beams capacity on the MP3 player. Conventional batteries show here throughout three of three bars and them to last longer through. The only difference I can live well as cost- and environmentally conscious consumers, however. For a long-term benefit of rechargeable batteries and a high lifetime and a decent pad unit will play a major role. However, this would go beyond the scope here.
