Important to me is that the filter is working relatively low noise with good water circulation. When specifying "aquarium of 100-300l" I would point out that it seems to be just right for a strong planted 80cm Aquarium relatively high stocking. However, for a normal planted 120cm aquarium with plenty of free water surface and a few fish it should be enough. It is a different matter if you, big catfish and the like has many cichlids. Those planning this and a larger aquarium of more than 200L has, should pick up the larger model.
