Actually no! Martin make no fantasy like so many other writers in search of inspiration. Trying desperately to stay afloat on the wave created by the Lord of the Rings to try to finish paying the bills of the house and the youngest studies by yet another anti-hero Solitaire remake braving many dangers for the smile of his turkey (uh sorry: Princess). No!
Martin doing the "Fantasy", no fantasy, and that's the difference. If you embark on the world of the Seven Kingdoms, do not do it lightly. Be prepared to:
- Prepare yourself for a long journey (12 volumes for the moment, much has arrival)
- Prepare to follow in parallel a multitude of characters and so many stories and adventures of appendices
- Prepare To write and has a style that makes you want
- Prepare to enter a world very well described and alive
- Prepare for hours and hours of pure happiness
- Prepare To you separate tragically of heroes
- Prepare to wait some can before the real fun begins. The cycle is long, it takes time to stake out the main elements is the intention of the player. The what and sns probably avoid disappointment.
- Prepare to be surprised ...
- This is not the Heroic Fantasy
This is probably less Heroic that everything I read in Fantasy
This is probably less Fantasy that everything I read in Heroic
