Anyway ... after a much too long hiatus Blizzard presents a XPac who would really be able to save a lot. But the sudden upturn in subscriber numbers at release testify.
But in my opinion, WoD is not the hoped-for salvation or the Neuaufleben the game.
The story is (first levels to 100) more interesting the first time, if you also noted that much has been curtailed due näherrückendem release. It is the same with the size, because a zone is let out at short notice, and is not, as has been temporarily hinted resupplied in patch 6.1.
Blizzard is keen to get people to Raiden ... but suffers from the "trappings". I have now neither time nor interest in / on Raiden, and for me there was at Level 100 little to do (Achievements in old areas I could extensively in far too long waiting time to catch up to WoD release). No Dailies more (so that it had Blizzard course in MoP somewhat exaggerated ... it but, except for some very pesky "Kill opponent until the bar is full, for whatever reason" to remove any field Quests is a omplett Plated step as Blizzard unfortunately often happens is last ... and looks frankly rather desperately).
The Garrison, the great innovation of WoD are first really interesting. Soon, however, at the latest shortly after reaching Level 100, you have a strong sign ... smacks of Zynga games such as FarmVille, collect rewards, losschicken followers, collect ore and plants, logout ... annoying and specifically with multiple Charaktern really time eating.
Which leads me to another point - who "Alts" like, so happy to use different characters, always possible to the level cap, might as well feel WoD Alt-unfriendly expansion of WOW history. The crafting has almost completely lost its meaning (since armor you can also get by Garrison), which is an important advantage of Alts almost eliminated, as the crafting anyway "broken" in this expansion.
On top of that eats the Garrison even with a character quite a bit of time, and even if it is not absolutely necessary (at levels already, and whoever wants to be supplied to some extent with equipment and materials at Level 100, you will probably need to use), which is at more as enem Level 100 really exhausting.
I like it, the level cap still be able to do something other than Raiden, and that was in all Xpacs at least since the introduction of the dailies in TBC possible. This seems now forgotten, and so I logged me in mid-late December the last time and since then had neither the desire nor drive me to reconnect. Accordingly, my subscription is natural since terminated.
Too bad, but after 9 years and two Xpacs (Cata and MoP) which I found not quite as strong, gave me the very rushed and nailed together WoD robbed the last game. Thanks to Blizzard for all the years of fun, especially by the end of Wrath or perhaps even the end of Cataclysm, but my time in WoW is now definitely over, mainly "increasing challenge" by a compiled carelessly and pressed for time extension, when Blizz the fact that you all go-out place needs to be able as for 8 years, fly (when the endless battles of the same old Standardmobs to increase the game fun while you are traveling, you should ask yourself what that says about the rest of the extension, especially since the Discovery is fun at the third Old completely gone at the latest).
Instead, there is now the option to tweet directly from the game and a couple of new games to the Darkmoon Faire. Instead of the originally short cut out zone on backorder or Blizzard responded that many have nothing to do with 100 Lvl unless they Raiden endless or want PVPen, this rather helpless acting are developed "improvements".
I remain grateful for endless hours of fun, especially in the early phase and in Wrath, but am sad how unloving this extension, and how helpless Blizzard affects path to the future. Thanks for the good time, but since December, without me
