Star Wars - Knights Of The Old Republic (computer game)

Customer Review

I am not one of the persons who are for all computer games and leave; my collection can be counted on two hands, because it rarely happened that I was able to inspire in the long run for a game such. KOTOR is one of those rare exceptions.

With the start of the game you have reached the middle of everything. One suspects that it will mutate in the course of history for the Jedi, but first you have to be a soldier, scout or rogue fight through history, in search of the Jedi Knight Bastila Shan, the front of an attack by the Sith in the underworld the planet Taris had to flee. Here you are constantly haunted by dreams that precisely those Bastila show in the fight against the Sith Lord Darth Revan, who should really be dead. Only in the course of history they add together the puzzle pieces and a coherent overall picture emerges. But until you come to this, it is important to master numerous challenges to air on many different planets the secret that gives the Sith under the leadership of its new chief, Darth Malak, such power. Meanwhile it has long become a Jedi and can choose between three Jedi classes, all of which have their advantages and can be trained individually. Furthermore, the protagonists are numerous individual characters are available, with which he can work. The above-mentioned Bastila Shan is one of them and will acquire even greater importance throughout history.

Great animation, a gelugene graph superbly drawn characters, a heroic atmosphere polyphony of history and scenarios - these are the definite strengths of this game. The story does not need to hide behind the movies, on the contrary: I have since the two games already played several times, a far greater appeal to me practicing the Old Republic nearly 4,000 years ago than their downfall and the Empire under Darth Sidious. Even the genius Darth Vader fades in my eyes next to Revan, the first "Darth" in the history of the Sith Order.
