With this album the Beatsteaks put a massive campaign against the obvious at the time conventional wisdom that good music from Germany must be NDW-sweetened pop or shallow rock á la Sprotfreunde on. This plate is vastly forward and the guys obviously had a lot of fun when playing the disc. The whole sounds a bit like The Clash and sprayed through his simple and catchy, rocking guitar sounds a certain punk-ska charm. Through their garage sound, the driving guitars and aggressive vocals but variable manages the plate but the monotony that sometimes has Punk in itself, should be avoided. Some place on the plate also borrows from the Strokes. I think that especially in length. 32 minutes have little, but in the end everything seems said. That's Rock 'n' Roll!
