Today, the Gorilla Pod came and I was looking forward, not to have my big Manfrotto rumschleppen me at smaller photo tours. But the disappointment was great: Despite the declaration, the device is suitable for DSLR cams up to 3 kg, it carries my S5Pro with Nikkor 24-70 not, but also not at all. Once I let go of the part, it sinks slowly but surely in slow motion in the knee. Thus, it is useless for me.

Also missing - contrary to the product description - the adapter screw of 1/4 to 3/8.

I'll return the stand tomorrow to Amazon. Too bad!
