That what I expected! 1

Have the equipment purchased as a 2nd choice very cheap, but could not determine (all new), the 2nd choice.
Unwrapped, all tapes and boards away, shaken toner. USB cable ran, pure paper. (5-10 min)
Installation as a printer took a while because I have no CD drive. Have something Sucherei directly on the publisher's website downloaded (WIN 8.1) Then the most current drivers all went fix and easily.
Have Wi-Fi and NFC tested, everything works great. (Fritzbox, Win8.1, Nexus 4)

Warm-up time is short, and felt OK. Copying and printing in SW good quality. "Photo" I tried, one should not expect too much.
Etc. So text, documents, patterns for the lady :-) no problem at all.

The unit is very compact. What I had not seen before is that the filled tray front facing looks down. I think that's not so nice, but needs due to the compact size obviously be. If you print out multiple pages, then you should pull out the paper edition catch up also.

Lid hinges seem a bit rickety, unstable. I'm going to the "you" address.
As a PRO device for copying and printing my opinion, not optimal, but for the supposed target audience of casual home users in order.
