Contrary to what was said and especially those who have not read, this book is less a book about Islam on the world of higher education. Submission is certainly the translation of the word "Islam" in French but also and especially posture academia in general that always submits ultimately up to power and money. The story tells the journey of a disillusioned college professor who is about to convert to Islam in order to marry (I could almost put quotes here) a fifteen year old girl with a Hello T-shirt Kitty and a woman of forty to serve him food.
The book also explains the hatred of the French left to Marine Le Pen is so strong that they always prefer ultimately voting for a candidate of the Muslim Brotherhood that promises early sharia as the candidate of the National Front. This is probably why the book was gun by opinion makers such as The World of Books and Les Inrockuptibles.
