The beginning of a wonderful series

Purchase Intention:
Bin Fan of the first hour and Chuck is still one of my favorite shows in Comedy / Action area and therefore of course I had this box in my home have on the shelf.

Basic constellation:
The first episode was broadcast in which we get to know the charming and nerdy college dropouts Chuck Bartowski on 24 September 2007. Ever since his best friend Bryce Larkin stretched his girlfriend he is consumed by self-doubt and works in the Buy More as technology assistants. One day he receives an email from Bryce with interlaced images. These images become lodged in Chuck's subconscious mind and from then on he gets visions of CIA documents if he sees the people. It turns out that Bryce has hacked and destroyed a CIA computer. All copies are now destroyed except the information in Chuck's brain. This of course calls the CIA, in the form of Sarah Walker and the NSA, in the form of John Casey on the plan which both want to access this information.
They decide to form a new unit, which is designed to protect the Intersect (Chuck) and is designed to prevent crimes because of its information. But good for a nerd who is interested in computer games over spy who must wait in the car? And he can do this to hide from his friends and Verwanden?

Development of the series:
Initially, the 3 is still very divided and the two agents try their interests to enforce but over time they learn that they are a perfect team and complement each other. The series known as a Game Changer is subjected between the second and third season which again significantly in disorder the basic framework and the series are a fresh breeze. What exactly is here would be too much of a spoiler but this change makes perfect sense.
Otherwise, the balance between slapstick and action usually falls more toward the fun thing is that most 2 stories are told. One of the Buy More (Comedy), which continues to serve as a cover for Chuck and a spy story (Action + Comedy).
There are many consequences of references to other films / series, often with their star as a guest, made.

The Characters:
- Charles Chuck Bartowski is a Normalo which by chance in a spy story unit. He is clumsy and nerdy but he is exactly the type of person you would like to have as a best friend. He loves Sarah since she came into the shop and tried to spy on him constantly learn more about them than their CIA code name.

- Sarah Walker is the top agent of the CIA and was off to the sausage shop opposite the Buy More to work always an eye on him to have. She is ambitious and a merciless killer who armed with a knife meets each objective .They tried their emotions always off what you but at the Trust Doofen Chuck does not always succeed though they can rebuffed all overtures freezing.

- John Casey's NSA Agent and more the silent type. He shoots better before he asks questions and his communication is usually limited to a Grunsen. Its extremely hard shell is not easily broken, and he will never show Tired all how much he hates it all, except, of course former President Ronald Reagan.

- Morgan Grimes is the best friend of Chuck since child day and always feel that Chuck him now something silent but it is not beyond what it is exactly. He is also a nerd who works at Buy More and more clumsy than Chuck.

- Jeffster are Jeff Barns and Lestor Patel. Two employees at the Buy More, which always occur as a unit, and therefore the name Jeffster wear (is also the name of their cover band). They are the secret stars of the series and provide a lot of laughs.

Starring:
Zachary Levi / Chuck (also known from Thor 2, Rapunzel (voice), Alvin and the Chipmunks 2, Office Girl)
plays basically self. Privately, he is also a nerd, who had a lot of fun doing work on this series and fought stehts with fans for an extension of the series. This can be seen here, too, that he is Wore his heart and soul into it.

Yvonne Strahovski / Sarah Walker (also known from Dexter, Killer Elite, I Frankenstein)
here shows her acting talent, as it is Australian, born in Poland,. You never hear an accent and their knowledge of Polish brings them often in a series. Your action scenes she turns quite passable although it clearly recognizes that it is not a great martial artist.

Adam Baldwin / John Casey (also known from Serenity / Firefly, The Patriot, Independence Day)
is a native of Baldwin course committed in film and television to occur. Besides Alec Baldwin of probably the most successful, which delivers a very good performance here.

Image and sound:
on the picture and sound are nothing really to complain about. It is not both outstanding but on good level.

Similarly series:
very heavy here rien similar series to find. Most likely not:
- Intelligence (only 1 season but bit of a clone without the comedy elements)

Season number:
5 with 91 episodes

Planned and round end ?:
yes and yes and no. The 5th Season was estimated from the outset as definitely last and so an end was written that I personally like but in the end a small question mark leaves.
Season 4 has actually already a round end which, however, was then extended by an additional scene as surprising a Season 5 was even ordered.

Today recommended?
Definitely.

Interesting:
- The series was actually threatened by the first season of the dismissal. However, Subway (Sandwiches) found it value of the session, thus reducing production costs Sponsors (similar to Cougar Town). For this reason, a Subway sandwich often plays a role but the advertising is mostly discreetly in the background.
- The series had almost always mediocre quotas and was really only repeatedly extended since other series are more and failed, remained stable odds of Chuck, because of the strong fan base at the same level.
- Season 3 and 4 both had actually planned a shorter episode number and were extended during production by 6 episodes. These effects were not used to artificially draw the actual story in the length but to tell a "mini season" with a new story.
- In the second episode we learn what actually happened to the aircraft from Lost (Oceanic 815);) In the 4th season, there is also an account with the number 4815162342 (The Lost Numbers)
- Chuck bears its name from its most Chucks by Converse

In short:
Such a unique series with such a loyal fan base should retest at least once.
