This first volume we moved into the world of "The Wheel of Time". The similarities with Tolkien's universe are very present. We find ourselves in an isolated countryside, where people have no knowledge of the world around them. We find ourselves confronted with evil Trollocs and magicians (Aes Sedai) that come to our rescue backed by a descendant of an extinct royal line. All this small "community" travels the world to combat "Dark". All this just to criticize the lack of imagination of the author who seems much too close to the Tolkien universe. However, we quickly permeates the characters and their environments, and soon the simimitudes fades, giving way to an exhilarating to own plot and R. Jordan. It is a quick plunge into this novel that leaves us presage a hectic adventure full of twists. I challenge anyone reading the first volume of the following happen ....
