The best DT album of the 2000s!

Dream Theater, the tenth. The Without words debut work When Dream & Day Unite is now already nearly 20 years old, but busy as bees are released, the fans are looking forward, still album to album - and the high in repeatedly and most significant quality. Two years after my opinion still very successful Systematic Chaos is now available in the resulting six-month studio work Black Clouds & Silver Linings, which combines the strengths of its predecessor, but without repeating weaknesses. Six songs distributed to 76 minutes, the familiar, expected and you love by New Yorkers. With the superior The Count Of Tuscany, the somewhat kitschy The Best Of Times, which finally publish the final part of Portnoy Alkosaga, The Shattered Fortress and A Nightmare To Remember there are four long, sumptuous compositions, in which one can again glorious dive into it and thereby discovering some details is (sounds cliché, but in DT always so). Instrumental one is of course again completely over the top and James LaBrie is now in the entire vocal spectrum super safe.

Two things I would like to mention: 1. The presentation of the digipack is a real cheek (the three CDs are in cardboard sleeves, but due to the fact that the digipack on both sides is left intelligently open constantly fall out - also the Digi much too thin and limp)
2. and that's important for me to lengths, the lyrics !! Guys, I can understand very well that the music is more important for you and would seemingly down to write her lyrics in the last week, but thinks at times but also to LaBrie! Some of the lyrics are really out of the question (in the past they were already not great, but now it is partially really embarrassing) and it would have to consider erntshaft times, zoom allow an outside lyricist to the material. I hate to imagine what a Jim Matheos could get out here to me ....
