I have a tea patina produced with cheap tea, as I have repeatedly unpalatable extremely strong tea cooked directly in pot until it cools down in the steel. That I would do when used as a coffee pot exactly analogous with coffee. Now there tastes like tea or coffee from the porcelain pot, but obese warm all day. :)
In order to improve the product, I would like to see a stainless steel or aluminum handle and possibly a lid with metal trim.
Since the pot is Extremely steady, it is also suitable for heavy good Melitta porcelain infusion coffee filter.
