Usual tips from colleagues might, for example:
°) Before grease neatly with vaseline, then rub anything. > Works only partly. Because the Vaseline keeps limited and also produces ugly Vaseline grease stains on the shirt.
Buy °) As T-shirts, which are internally very smooth. The rougher the inside of the T-shirts, the more likely it will be chafed. > Works only partly. Because the material in the financial times feels fast smooth and soft, but can be washed after 15 times the have become quite different.
°) No cotton T-shirts but functional textiles without cotton. > I can confirm from my own experience. Cotton drinks himself to weld full, then wet and heavy and uncomfortable rubbing. Even a share of only 20% cotton women's tee is sufficient for this unpleasant effect.
Mask °) nipples to protect with plasters. > Works very well. Of course, the various patches stick also differ greatly. Either it sticks weak and dissolves it after a few kilometers drive (with corresponding sweat production) ahead of itself. Or ... it holds bombproof and then leaves, the painful detachment of a hairy man's chest after repeated use, a "bald runway". The best experience with respect. Adhesion and detachment behavior I have personally made with adhesive tape (a strip about a hand's breadth long, vertically glued over the nipple).
and many more tips.
But somehow, these are all just temporary solutions and will in the long run simply annoying.
So I came to the idea: "What nice snug, should not scrub actually." - And so it is!
Since then, I wear the shirt of Heatgear Under Armour running, I even at the half marathon distance (21 km) no problems with chafed nipples.
++ The very stretchable material the Heatgear fits perfectly to the contours of the body. Nothing pinches or pinches, as with other compression shirts. The Heatgear wears really very pleasant and fits like a second skin.
++ Despite its tight fit it intersects neither, nor anywhere from constricted or obstructed movements.
++ The fabric is very soft, feels cool and seems to be very breathable. Sweat is transported optimally away from the skin to the outside. If you feel of sweat that runs down along the back uncomfortable, know> they forget it. This T-shirt is the past.
++ Very flexible, thereby no problems on and off, in spite of a tight fit.
- Smaller (or even larger) flab be shown mercy. Here, depending on the self-confidence, possibly "camouflage" by a second, loosely falling T-Shirts hip.
A few more words to choose the size:
I am 183 cm tall, with powerful build (and I do not mean the belly!) And a "fighting weight" of 87 kg.
The order of my size XL fits very well. The length of the shirt's reaches about one hand width below the hip bone. The T-shirt hugs the body like a second skin, but without constricting. Tweaks Even under the armpits and expresses nothing.
If you have the more typical, lean runner figure, you should probably resort to size L.
I would not give up the Heatgear shirt from Under Armour and therefore full 5 stars and a unique purchase recommendation. I order me now quickly nor what.
