One of the best comic books by Alan Moore. 'Watchmen' dissects the myth of American superheroes face the real world and offers the reader a black fable complex, where many musical and literary references (William Burroughs, John Cale, DEVO ...) make you want to go further in the world of the English author. 'Watchmen', like 'From Hell' or 'The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen' is primarily a work of incredible strength, closest to the novel form, which never brings the reader what he thinks have to wait.
