better it should call "NEON MASD-1 microSD / microSDHC card adapter for certain Olympus cameras".
There is no general MicroSD - XD adapter! The camera is designed to support microSD cards too! eg Olympus mju 1030. Then everything fits. if the camera does not support it, it is absolute bad buy !!! Read the instruction manual before buying for their first camera absolutely! and most important, the Panorama - feature is therefore not available.
