I had the choice between a "DSLR" and the "FinePix HS30EXR".
A DSLR camera takes photos of course on a different level, but also needs different lenses, which rely so quite deep in the wallet.
The bridge camera contrast makes good pictures and is very flexible. (Sharp photos can today any digital camera even any phone) For this purpose it has gimmicks like 3D, high-speed and panorama function.
First impression: The camera fits comfortably in your hand and can be operated like a DSLR also.
there is a big difference in quality of the photos to my old cameras.
From macro to long exposures, anything is possible. All can be adjusted manually if necessary.
I have appraised the camera by a professional photographer.
With proper light (sun, studio flash) even ordinary portraits are possible.
------------------------------------- I was amazed that goes with it! ------ ----------------------------
(In my perfect training tool before you buy an expensive professional camera)
Second Einruck: when the sun shines or the ambient light is good, the photos are sharp and colorful.
In low light (indoors and night) a tripod or high ISO value should be used (smaller image sensor).
From ISO-1600 falls on image noise.
By SN mode (EXR), the noise can be reduced. The sensor switches pixel pairs together and increases light sensitivity (resolution is halved from 16MP to 8MP). I tried it with two settings in one room and had also noticed the differences. Otherwise there there still photo editing programs that noise can herrausfiltern subsequently.
Builds Fujifilm the 2/3 "sensor the X10 or X100, then that would be an absolute Super camera!
It must be mentioned about this: Larger Sensor means less zoom etc.
+ The zoom is awesome. I was even able to photograph the moon detail empire! 60x (720mm + 2Digitalzoom)
+ Long Exposure goes to 30sec and there are interesting, great photos!
+ The battery life is also quite good, I'd say.
+ It looks like a classic DSLR from (Personal feeling: Other Bridge cameras I find ugly).
-The 1/2 "sensor is ok but could be better. But it is not bad and is an interesting technology.
------------------------------------ This may complain to high level .------ ----------------------------------
(The sensor is 1/2 "larger than with other cameras, but have already precious Compact 2/3". At DSLR sensors, however, comes not ran.)
Conclusion:
For 280, this camera was a good buy.
For 400, there are better or at least equal to a DSLR
PS: Those who do not have it, will also shoot with a high-end pro camera no good photos ..
