Hello,
I just changed my ink cartridges on my Brother DPC 387C (May 2010). In the error message restarting displayed: Can not boot! 4F error. The print head is blocked so I am forced to go for service. The warranty is one year past diagnosis and "HS Printhead due to use of non-genuine cartridges, the repair will be more expensive than the price of a new machine!) Having yet 20 cartridges of this model I was forced to buy a DPC lower manufacturing quality 195C for not blow my budget by taking a newer model.
The use of compatible (according to their qualities ink) comes back to me more than the savings induced).
