The diary of a killer of animals

Our man is in prison, and sees passing (not without the part of the author's irony tip) his lawyer, psychologists (reminiscences of his previous trial "Psychologists are there ...") who do not know not what to make of him, and trying to find out what has happened to him. His first crime was to last bought a television art, and have subscribed to all the possible and existing channels, and finding, over his zapping every time he falls on a documentary animal. Exasperated not by the vision of these animals living in the forest, but by the comment of the voiceover and de facto, by the vision that we can then teach the viewer loose ends, he decides one day to go to the act, and, fulfilling his real crime in a zoo, it becomes the number one public enemy and all the media talk about it in headlines before talking about the earthquake that ravaged a village there, in India .

The aim is excessive, but it is precisely what makes it very interesting when we see that ultimately, we are more interested in worship that is dedicated to the animal than the animal itself, with all the paradoxes that can arise from this reflection. After reading this book, you can not stop laughing from beginning to end, the tone is right. The funniest transition to my taste is pretty much in the middle of the book, when he talks of the effects of Walt Disney cartoons on our vision of the animals, and our merchandising around "our animal friends." And the big question that arises is this novel: "what are the authorities?"

A novel which I highly recommend, as it is above all, and I repeat, a novel. It reads very easily.
