End of the 90 Duke Nukem 3D was a landmark. Through its unique time, ironic humor and his entire gameplay was fun and kept me for hours on the screen. Now, after nearly 15 years of waiting for the successor, I personally believe the whole only when it was commercially available and initially accessed times not at all. The gaming market has become so full of great songs that I (was LA Noire and Alan Wake thanks) de facto not at all had the time to test the title.
Meanwhile, I have purchased the game and played, and I must say my expectations were met 100%! What did I expect? An average shooter, with average graphics and the Duke, that's all. More, it is not.
The game:
In principle it is nothing more than for example a Call of Duty title, just stop with urinals that you can help, and macho swaggering swank sayings. Halt the Duke. The game is full of self-irony in the form of glorifying Duke statues oneself as Duke is simply once again the world's Savior, all the others are too stupid at all times just to walk straight.
The graphics are on stand 2008, ie absolutely acceptable, sounds are also classified as average, the German Synchro acceptable. Better sounds but as so often, the original Synchro. Here also no pun is lost in the translation bustle.

The difficulty is, for me, absolutely schaffbar for experienced gamers, even in Hard Mode. Beginners should at least be required with shotgun / slow weapons because many opponents are quite fast like appear in the pack times.
Price / performance can be described as Ok, since the title is now 20 to 30 Euro. 60 I would certainly not want to spend here. For Balls of Steel Edition I can not say much unfortunately, die-hard fans should at least once a consideration not hurt.
Now for the really big MINUS: The load times. On the Xbox 360 takes (have stopped) a loading screen between 45 and 60 seconds and every 3-5 minutes !!!!! At the most annoying is when the later bosses. One dies just sometimes more often in an attempt to kill the beasts, and what is there comes together to wait almost an impertinence, therefore advance 1 star less. Skyrim, MW3 and GTA do it yes even without!
Conclusion:
The Duke is back, and let's face it, we are pleased but somehow, right? I habs played without great expectations, and out came an entertaining game that is quite playable for me!
