It should be noticed at times that it's really unclear what will be offered in the so-called "specialized" in parakeet cages sized so - if one then times compares with relevant literature and Welli- websites (eg birds-online). The indicated there variables (eg min. 1.20 m), however, are difficult to achieve something abundant or at least in an apartment.
Our problem with the smaller cage was simply this: it was always a cramp, our boys back reinzukriegen, although you then never really had the feeling that they felt uncomfortable in it. (I must say that we bought the two vultures in October 2009 together and they are therefore not so extremely tame that they could grab as easy times.)
With this large cage that is now all of a sudden no longer a problem!
If the cage is open, they often still remain only in it for a long time, then go out sometime and flying their laps sit partially on, in front or beside the cage on their branches, we have built outside ...... but especially they go in between some like and constantly in their cage to romp and play. Which you can then simply carry on as required times without having to get out before fast nor try again (as it was in the old Whenever you first were out there, they might have someday went in after hours from hunger.
The new cage has but apparently exactly the crucial centimeters more that a fly and run around in the cage, thus allowing a real well-being. We have the new cage apparently also very useful set over several levels - partly with the supplied brilliant brown rods for mating and otherwise with even harvested natural woods and purchased natural wood swings etc.
However, one must above all make sure that you in the cage enough clearance for flying leaves and the benefits of the cage does not break something by you overload him.
To assemble, unfortunately I can not really say anything, because we ultimately assembled the cage in our Zoohändler in Berlin Köpenicker Allende who bought Center after he was unfortunately not available here for weeks (but is now no blame on Amazon !!! ). Anyway, if the design looks at itself as it looks really all logical and doable for a technically inclined people from average!
Very good are the two drawers, both in the handling as well as from her material and the cleaning possibilities. One needs for this area of course a whole lot of sand (eg about a 3/4 bag of Rossm.) But it is also sufficient (at least in our two budgies), weekly cleaning really; without that you get a really conscientious Piepmatzhalter remorse (at the old small cage that was after about three days overdue).
Super for our two Klettermaxen are also around horizontal bars.
A small negligible disadvantage of the cage against a firmly welded (smaller) model is only the slight instability if one singles out the entire cage top from the large plastic tub, but you get used to.
Well of course you can and forget the supplied affigen plastic swings.
The fact is that in this cage have at least two Wellis obviously exactly the space they need for feeling well; our two anyway love him quite obvious!
So: BUY !!!
